Welcome to Hogwarts, post-Voldemort: The mythical school has been rebuilt, and the children of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy are now learning about wizardry and witchcraft themselves. This is the setting for Bovine Metropolis Theater's popular series, a futuristic fan-fiction parody called The Heirs of Hogwarts: An Improvised Adventure. Every night in the once-a-week show is different, says director Eric Farone. "The title of each show will be suggested by the audience, as will the location, which can either take place in the Muggle world or the wizarding world," he says. From there, the seven to ten actors will create a plot using many of the standard themes and archetypes from the Harry Potter movies and books, including train rides, Quidditch, magical creatures and various settings in houses or forests.

"We never know who the Professor of the Dark Arts will be, but we know he will always be evil or incompetent," says Farone. And, he adds, although it's a parody, "it's definitely for Harry Potter fans and it's definitely a geek fest. And the biggest geeks are on stage or directing."
