I am a Cuban-American who grew up in Miami, and when I moved to Denver I was excited to see that there was a Cuban rstaurant in town. Heck, it's even called Cuba Cuba - the food's got to be good, authentic, homestyle Cuban, right? Wrong. The whole point of Cuban food is that it is cheap food at its best...as my mother likes to say, Cubans make the most out of very little. Cuba Cuba is over-priced and not authentic. I agree with the previous post - duck ropa vieja?!? Give me a break! What Denver desperately needs is an authentic Cuban restuarant that serves delicious food cheap.

I look forward to trying Buenos Aires...I don't care where you're from if you can make a good Media Noche. From what I understand, the owner of CC is from Miami, and they've got it all wrong. Hopefully, it takes an Argentinian in Denver to make a good Cuban sandwhich.

My my family is from Cuba, and we went to Cuba,Cuba for dinner. It is a very nice restaurant and it is always delightful to visit a Cuban restaurant - *BUT* it is *NOT* all authentic cuisine. Good food, great atmosphere, but definitely "fusion" dishes (i.e. duck ropa vieja?) :o) As for Buenos Aires Pizzeria, we look forward to trying your Cuban Sandwich!

I love to visit Denver. In Denver, the best Cuban Restaurant without a doubt IS Cuba, Cuba. CUBA, CUBA IS authentically Cuban!Buenos Aires Pizzeria is an Argentinian Restaurant. It's like saying that the Best Thai Food can be found in Chinese Restaurant. That is an insult to both in the culinary arts. Know your foods and get a grip people.
