Best Shakespearean Leading Lady Denver 2008 - Sarah Fallon
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Colorado Shakespeare Festival

Sarah Fallon has a lovely voice and she knows how to speak Shakespeare, giving the poetry its due without ever sounding phony. At the Colorado Shakespeare Festival last summer, she brought real humor to the role of the jilted Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream — broad but never over the top.
My Voice Nation Help

I was lucky enough to attend high school with Sarah, and we were in theater together for one year. I can attest to the fact that Sarah was born with a gift for acting, especially when it comes to the difficult roles that Shakespeare created when writing his plays. Having seen Sarah in one play last summer, and seeing her shine more than ever on stage, I agree with this "Best Of" selection, for sure. Congrats Sarah! You have worked hard for this!
