This is a great article. I went with my husband last Spring while he was buying gold in denver for his company. When I went with him to do the actual buying I learned a lot about the importance of buying gold from people who are knowledgeable and good at what they do. My husband explained that the more they know, the better the gold is, because the seller knows every detail of the gold he's selling.
Best Coin Dealer in Uncertain Times Denver 2009 - Dave's Gold & Silver Exchange
The Truth is that Rocky Mountain Coin has been at the same location for 35+ years. (2 doors down from Dave's) His father- in-law was a chiropractor that opened Dave's next door to Rocky. (Rocky Mountain Coin originated at the Dave's Gold & Silver location) The "Truth" may also be that Dave's just can't compete without making defamatory statements.

KenA Rocky Mountain Coin Customer
Well I have been doing business with Dave's since 1996 and have never had any issues. I believe the competition must really dislike Dave's business pratices, fair and honest. So if you want to get ripped off go to the guys that advertise on TV like your fast cash gold centers or go see that douche at rocky mountain coin. I'm sure they will ask you what Dave offered you.
speaking of weirdos on coin collections, there are lots of them who would do everything just to get their hands on coins that one must probably own. just be careful and know the real value of your coin.

I tried to visit the website and was met with a "under construction" sign that look like it had been there since the 90's claiming they were an "up to date" company..really? So I e-mailed them and have posted below the real e-mails. You decide if you want to do business with someone who talks to potential customers like this.
From ME to Dave (owner):Despite all the positive reviews I have seen I am reluctant to bring my business to a company that can't get their web site in order. Most "up to date" businesses had websites up 10-15 years ago.
From Dave(owner) to ME:You can't judge a book by its website, mate, so with all due respect, piss off!Cheers!Dave
