Starting at 6 a.m., squadrons of disciples elbow their way through the doors of Pico de Gallo, a comradely strip-mall Mexican joint that pushes a freaking awesome breakfast burrito, among other South-of-the-border beauties. Stuffed like a sumo wrestler before his next throwdown, and more or less the length of a telephone pole and weight of the Titanic, the griddled tortilla is tightly bundled with soft scrambled eggs, crumbles of housemade chorizo that drip with just the right amount of hot grease, and face-slapping roasted jalapeños. And because that's not enough bulk, the kitchen further amps it up with cheese, soft cubed potatoes and a liberal ladleful of spicy green chile, which is also poured on top. It's everything you require from a breakfast burrito. And more.

My husband and I moved to Denver in 2009 from Texas. We've been on a pursuit to find good Mexican in the "North." Although the Tex-Mex options we've tried don't hold a light to the South, we have taken solace in Pico De Gallo's amazing breakfast burritos. They've become our guilty pleasure in Denver! One burrito is enough for myself and my 220lbs husband to share. The staff are very accommodating and the free chips and salsa can't be beat! Near the Highlands, I strongly recommend this place on a Saturday morning on your way to great boutique shopping!

This is one of the Best places we have ever found to eat true authenic mexican food. It is family owned and ran, they treat us as if we were part of their family. I have had almost everything on the menu. There is absolutely nothing that I wouldn't order again. Joaquin and Omar are the BEST!!!!! I Highly recommend Pico De Gallo to everyone.

the best overall for anything on the menu, my wife and i eat here morning ,lunch and diner when we visit denver,i have found myself as family, with all the staff, damn the salsa's are to die for too!, i'm on my way to trying everything on the menu,, the best really!!!
