Best Hip-Hop Videographer - 2012
Jeremy "Konsequence" Pape
Ask for the "Konsequence special" and you're likely to get a video with the best story line, cinematography and charisma out there. Konsequence has shot videos for rappers all over the scene, employing his personal tricks to bring to life some of hip-hop's greatest joints. Whether capturing a melancholy instrumental video for a beatmaker like Kid Hum, or documenting the roughest, toughest life of a junkie, like FOE's like-named project, Pape is on the case. His demeanor is calm, assertive and flexible, and, quite frankly, he brings out the best in rap's moving pictures.
@ CameraKiller87 your comment is a testament to the philosophy that Konsequence isn't doing shit right until he has someone to hate on it for no good reason. go play in traffic. Excellent work J.
how so? it says "best hip-hop videographer," "not best short film" or "clip of the year." pape's videos are super fresh, he's been traveling all over america to shoot for numerous artists/companies (including heavy hitters like gucci mane) and dude gives 110% always. maybe you should step your game up instead of hating on those who are on their grind--work on killing that camera instead of others' shine. -TBK
