A Chance at the Bigtime
Some lucky amateurs (or otherwise) will have their moments in the spotlight tonight when the Boulder Theater presents Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway, an all-star revue of Broadway favorites sung by a cast of five pros direct from the Great White Way. So in addition to the experienced belting of non-stop hits by Ray McCleod, Rita Harvey, Carter Calvert, Danny Zolli and Erick Buckley, some winning entrants in the Singing with the Broadway Stars contest will also warble on stage during tonights show.
The revue, described as offering a smashing compilation of the best of the best, including tunes from The Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Les Misérables and more, begins at 8 p.m. at the Boulder Theater, 2032 14th Street in downtown Boulder; for tickets, $40 to $48.50, visit www.bouldertheater.com or call 303-786-7030.
