Tonights visitors are bound to find the party equally irresistible. Party-goers are encouraged to dress in their swashbuckling finest (there will be a costume contest with fabulous prizes); the admission price includes appetizers, one drink at the bar (a cash bar will be open after the first drink), a station where participants can get inked with a temporary tattoo, and a treasure hunt through the Real Pi-rates exhibit. Youll be hunting for information, answers to various questions, Davis explains. Its a treasure map, and youll find your way through the exhibit by finding the answers. There will also be live music. We went with very danceable music we decided not to go with sea shanties, although there will be some pirate-inspired music, Davis notes.
Strap on your peg legs and eye patches and head to the DMNS, 2001 Colorado Boulevard, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Admission is $38 for museum members and $43 for non-members; visit www.dmns.org or call 303-370-6000.
