The blues captured the musical imaginations of many a young white pop star on either side of the Atlantic back in the '60s, but somehow the British bluesers came out with the higher profile, while those stateside — many of them associated with Paul Butterfield or the Siegel-Schwall Band — toiled religiously in the background, playing what they loved. A whole slew of those artists, including a reformed Siegel-Schwall and the Chicago Blues Reunion, with Barry Goldberg, Nick Gravenites, Harvey Mandel, Tracy Nelson, Sam Lay and Corky Siegel sitting in, will resurface at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge tonight at 7 p.m. for Blues at 9,600 Feet, a benefit concert for the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center.

information and tickets, $20 to $30, call 1-970-547-3100 or go to www.gobreck.com.
Sun., July 2, 7 p.m.
