Even if you thought Left Hand Brewing’s Hops & Handrails multi-brewery beer fest and snowboard competition couldn’t possibly top itself, the event’s going bigger than ever this year, says Left Hand event coordinator Josh Goldberg, by upping the number of regional suds vendors from 24 to 37, making its signature snowboarding ramp more challenging and bringing in a higher-quality crew of competitors to knock your socks off with their skills.
“Our job is to make this the raddest winter festival in the state by celebrating the best of what we have in Colorado — and that means killer craft beer and awesome snow sports,” Goldberg boasts, and he’s not kidding, even for publicity’s sake. Families, he adds, will also find distractions in a thirty-by-thirty-foot mini-terrain park for kids and in sideline spectating as pros and amateurs alike compete for cash prizes in open, junior and ladies’ categories.
