By Hook or by Kirk
William Shatner has done many things during his eighty years on earth, including make out with alien women, sing like a stilted, tone-deaf parrot and get everyone really good prices on airline tickets. In fact, there is almost nothing he hasn't done, including perform on Broadway, which is where Shatner's World: We Just Live in It began.
The one-man show goes where no other one-man show has gone before -- from Shatner's early Shakespearean stage acting to his auctioning off his own kidney stone for charity -- and now it's coming to Denver for one night. Will Shatner wear a Star Trek uniform for old times' sake, talk about horses or do another alarming rendition of "Rocket Man?" Will he mention T.J. Hooker? Groupies will have an hour and forty minutes to find out.
Shatner's World: We Just Live In It begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Buell Theatre, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Tickets range from $46 to $300; for more information, call the theater at 303-893-4100 or visit www.shatnersworld.com.
