Nothing shows a genuine love and devotion for collecting toys like going face-down in a metal tub full of water in the "Bobbing for Action Figures" activity at the Collectors Supershow and MajestiCon Comics Con, taking place today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramada Plaza Convention Center at 10 East 120th Avenue in Northglenn. There's plenty more if you aren't hard-core enough to risk drowning to rescue a G.I. Joe with your teeth. David Hedison, star of the original version of The Fly and the '60s television show Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea will make his first Colorado appearance, and the fine artists of Squidworks will be on hand to create zombified caricatures of convention attendees. In addition, there will be more than one hundred tables of vintage collectibles and cool stuff to browse and buy, ranging from antique dolls to Star Trek toys and everything in between. Admission is $5, or free for those in costume and kids under twelve. Visit www.danacain.com for info.
