Disco Biscuit

Congratulations! As of today, you’ve successfully survived the hardest part of the holiday season. The shopping is done, the gifts are given, and the big dinners are over. Now you’re stuck at home, wondering how you can escape your family and wishing it was New Year’s Eve already. Tonight you can kick off this truly festive part of the season a few evenings early by cruising to the hi-dive for the Holiday Come Down, a dance party featuring the best in cosmic, left-field and other disco styles from the ’70s to the present, all mixed up and delivered by DJs Jalapeño, Tyler Snow and Mike Disco. “It’s just something to give people a chance to get a little crazy after the holidays, which can be super stressful for some people,” says Jalapeño. “We want to give people that opportunity to get away, let loose, have some fun. You can forget about and leave all your stresses and apprehensions at the door.”

The party starts at 9 p.m. at the hi-dive, 7 South Broadway. Tickets are $5, and you need to be 21 or older to ride this soul train. For more information, visit or call 720-570-4500.
Fri., Dec. 26, 9 p.m., 2008
