All the way from New York City, Fashion’s Night Out makes a scene in Cherry Creek North tonight. This event, which was started four years ago by industry icon Anna Wintour, encourages cities across the U.S. to bring designers, retailers and fashion fans together to celebrate all things couture.
“We’re a go-to for fashion seekers, and we wanted to get people excited about shopping again,” says Kristi Omdahl, marketing manager for Cherry Creek North, about the district’s first-time participation in the national event.

The main fashion show kicks off at 9 p.m., when the plaza becomes an 88-foot runway featuring new fall looks from Garbarini, Mariel, Marks Lloyd Furs and more.
Fashion’s Night Out is free, but VIP fashion-show seating and access to cocktails and retailer specials start at $60. A portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit Goodwill Industries.
