Explore the weirder side of the city today when the Bizarre Denver collective presents its Bizarre Bazaar, a showcase for local artists, musicians and community organizations. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Brooks Center Arts, at 1400 Williams Street, will play host to nearly two dozen artists displaying their work and community organizations such as the Derailer Bicycle Collective, Denver Urban Gardens and Free School Denver presenting information and workshops. Live music acts, including Paper Bird, Layden Bryant, Laura Goldhammer, Nathan Payne and the New Denver Orchestra, will perform throughout the day. There's a suggested $3 to $5 donation to attend, but no one will be turned away. For more information, visit www.myspace.com/bizarredenver.
