Four Denver chefs Elise Wiggins (Panzano), Justin Cucci (Root Down), Mick Rosacci (Tonys Market) and Sheila Lucero (Jax Fish House) will put their breast foot forward tonight at the fourth annual Cook for the Cause, a benefit to raise funds for the Colorado Cancer Coalitions. Cook for the Cause supports our goal of increasing breast-health awareness and providing screening mammograms to women who cannot afford them on their own, says Lora D. Barke, medical director of Invision Sally Jobe Breast Network. The sip-and-sup orgy, which includes cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and raffles for dinners at local restaurants, hotel stays and other cool stuff, gets under way at 6 p.m. this evening at Kimball Distributings Denver Viking Showroom, 1400 West Third Avenue. Tickets are $35 and available at all Tonys Market locations or online at www.celebratingpink.com.
