Over the years, chanteuse Lannie Garrett has become a local landmark — and now she's putting her act in another landmark, the Daniels & Fisher Tower, which is now known as Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret. The 150-seat theater at 1601 Arapahoe Street will be a semi-permanent home for Garrett, who kicks off her residency with the crowd-pleasin' Patsy DeCline Show — a song-filled satire about a washed-up country wonder — which is slated to run Wednesdays through Saturdays through April 29. Garrett will clock in seven months of the year (and rotate in some of her other hit shows as the season progresses); the venue will fill out the rest of its schedule with an eclectic mix of music, comedy and community events. For example, on Tuesdays beginning February 21, Jefferson Arca will host Retro Vaudeville Variety Night.

"I look forward to welcoming old friends and new into this amazingly beautiful space," says Garrett. Denver artist Lonnie Hanzon oversaw the transformation of the space, located in the lower level of Denver's first skyscraper. (The tower was erected in 1910 and modeled after Venice’s Campanile.)
