Sure, you'll be snowed by all the deals at the sixteenth annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo, which turns the Colorado Convention Center into a giant temporary ski shop (with 20,000 square feet of inventory, as well as info from all 25 Colorado resorts) today through November 11. But there's also plenty of action guaranteed to get you heading for the hills, including the Honda DNA-Evolution Rocky Mountain SnowDown. In this new competition, the University of Colorado and Colorado State University ski teams will face off on a complex course of three different rails. Since these athletes are amateurs, they're just competing for a trophy and bragging rights but any spectators are guaranteed winners. Expo doors open at noon today and stay open until 10 p.m.; tomorrow's hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday's are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults or $7 with a discount coupon available at Colorado Ski & Golf or online at www.ski-snowboardexpo.com, where you can also find a complete schedule that includes the SnowDown. And remember, there's no business like snow business!
Fri., Nov. 9, 12-10 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 10, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 11, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., 2007
