One can only imagine what response Peter Pan's famous lines will evoke when they're uttered on screen under the stars of Cheesman Park during tonight's city-sponsored Movies in the Parks screening of the fanciful J.M. Barrie biopic, Finding Neverland. Just imagine it: Johnny Depp, the moon and a pack of picnickers all wrapped up together in the haunted aura of Cheesman's historical Victorian time warp. Too perfect. Cheesman, after all, boasts a storied past of ghosts and graveyards that's nearly as inventive as the writings of Barrie himself.
The magical evening begins when Tinkerbell and friends come out at dusk; bring something to lounge on and your own delectable basket of food. For details and a complete Movies in the Parks schedule, call 720-913-0765 or visit denvergov.org/recreation.
