Denver cannabis club iBake will hold hookah and dab sessions, games and cookouts for 4/20 as the holiday approaches and leaves. Starting at 4:20 every day from April 14 to April 23, the members-only lounge will have various contests like Cards Against Humanity and toking relay races, and will serve up free doughnuts, cereal and ice cream sundaes on certain days; there will also be a raffle for heady prizes every night at 8 p.m. Entrance into the club (21+) requires a membership, which can be obtained online. Melodic, bass-heavy DJ Caspa is throwing a 4/20 party at the Black Box, starting with trivia and Cheba Hut subs with the man himself on April 18. Denver's newest private cannabis club will be hosting parties before, during and after 4/20. Although membership is required to enter Tetra 9, anyone 21 and older can acquire a membership online. Denver's most popular mobile cannabis lounge, the Loopr, will take riders on a special 4/20 edition of its dispensary bud crawl April 19 through April 22. After downloading the Loopr app for pick-up locations and admission, guests will be driven to different dispensaries each day — including Ballpark Holistic Dispensary, Colorado Harvest Company, Levels, Lucy Sky, Mighty Tree and Northern Lights Cannabis Co. — all while toking up as much as they'd like. Under new promoters, the 4/20 event at Civic Center Park this year is no longer disguised as a political rally. Instead, the Mile High 420 Festival will have three stages of entertainment, with local craft and food vendors set up throughout the day. Headliners include Lil Wayne, Lil' Jon, The Original Wailers, Inner Circle, Whitewater Ramble and Taylor Alexander, with plenty of local musicians and comedians performing on other stages.
