"Where can you go see a play and have a good time and actually be in the drawing for a frozen turkey?" asks Kathy Kuehn, performing arts director at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. If you guessed "nowhere," you're wrong: A new production at the center, The Queen of Bingo, includes an actual bingo game in which the audience participates — and one lucky attendee walks away with a ten-pound bird.

The story revolves around "Sis" (Shane Partlow) and "Babe" (Rowan Joseph), two sisters who want to bring some excitement into their lives. "I thought this was something that everybody can relate to," says Kuehn. And having men play the female leads certainly adds spice to the mix.

Bingo opened last night and runs through February 18 at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard; tonight's performance starts at 7 p.m. and costs $25 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows are $30). Visit www.arvadacenter.org or call 720-898-7200 for information.
March 9-10, 7 p.m.
