“This is a great combination of the two things that many of our followers love the most, and that’s art and ale,” says Tori Labs, spokeswoman for the Wildlife Experience Museum, 10035 South Peoria Street in Parker, summing up the popular Art & Ale Brew Festival, which returns to the museum from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight.

“The few new things we’ve got going on are mostly new breweries — New Planet and Elk Mountain Brewery — and we’ll have the same great restaurants and vendors: Melting Pot, Avery Brewing, Del Norte,” she explains. “The other thing that we keep the same, because we get such a great response, is the Flock of Beagles, our live band. They’re an ’80s cover band, and they’re just as fun as their name sounds.”

While you soak up the suds and sounds, you’ll also have a chance to peruse the museum’s galleries and exhibits. Labs recommends the Practice What You Teach exhibit, a collection of work by community-college art teachers. But you can also just enjoy snacks or a smoke in the cigar lounge. “It’s a great social environment, and more than anything, we just have a good time,” she concludes.

Admission is $35 for museum members and $45 for the general public, or $80 per couple; for more information, call 720-488-3300 or visit www.thewildlifeexperience.org.
