Davenport’s been filming with Warren Miller Entertainment for the past fifteen years, getting into the zone in some of the most exotic mountain ranges in the world. This year’s adventure took him to a Colorado favorite: the San Juan Mountains, where he made big-mountain lines with Telluride Helitrax.
The annual Warren Miller films help create a communal sense of flow state for skiers and snowboarders everywhere, says Daven-port. “You walk out of that theater, and all you’re thinking about is, ‘When is the snow going to fall?’ For 63 years, the Warren Miller films have been perpetuating this stoke, this passion.”
Flow State gets its Denver premiere tonight at 8 p.m. and will screen through November 18 at the Paramount Theatre, 1631 Glenarm Avenue.
