To that end, eight artists and an arts collective contributed seven sculptural works in the park; they’ll all be unveiled at tonight’s reception, which doubles as a sanctioned BotA community party. In addition to the exhibit, tonight’s festivities include speakers — Mayor Michael Hancock, Chamber of Commerce head Bill Vidal, Scott Sampson of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and Chris Parr of the Denver Housing Authority — as well as live music, dance and performance poetry under the stars.
Join the fun from 7 to 11 p.m. at SPark, 2500 Arapahoe Street; Imagined Realities remains on view through September 6. For more information about tonight’s party, visit biennialoftheamericas.org, or go to redlineart.org for more on the exhibit.
