The End-O-Trend Festival, due to take place on Saturday, October 3 at Auraria Campus, just announced some of the acts that will be appearing on its four stages. While there's a few national headliners, namely the Heavenly States and Edie Sedgwick, the bulk of the bill at this fest appears to be mostly local thus far, with performances slated from Tauntaun, the Boulder Acoustic Society, Mustangs & Madras, the Hollyfelds, Dang!, Frontside Five, Forth Yeer Freshman, Murder Ranks, Yerkish and Julian B (aka Sugarloaf Watson), Get 3 Coffins Ready, Primasonic, Light Travels Faster and Bad Luck City. Pre-sale tickets -- which will evidently be silkscreened on shirts, theirs or one that you provide -- are available now from $10 for students, $15 non-students and $25 for VIP. There's many more elements to this wholly unique festival, which is being presented by Bands for Lands and billed as the the first fully altruistic and sustainable music, art and film event in the country. Much more. Rest assured, it's not just a bunch of bands throwing down for the sake of throwing down. There's a method to the maddness, as they say. Check out the video (if you have problems loading, view it here) after the jump for more about the fest.
