Mile Highlights: Denver/Boulder area concert news, local radio playlists and top album sales

Here's what's happening in music on the Front Range this week: On the concert front, shows from Rammstein, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, Kraddy, Peter Frampton, Umphrey's McGee and Henry Rollins were announced; Caleb Slade, Force Publique, My Body Sings Electric and the Outfit got spins on local radio; and new and recent releases from Tom Waits, Florence and the Machine and Tech N9NE were among this week's top sellers at our local record stores. This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates

As reported yesterday, a number of shows have been announced already this week, including Rammstein at the Denver Coliseum on Sunday, May 20. Tickets ($44.50-$84.50) go on sale on Saturday, November 19 at 10 a.m. Kelly Clarkson will be at the 1STBANK Center on Sunday, March 18 in support of her new album, Stronger, which was released last month. Tickets ($49.50-$65) go on sale on Saturday, November 19 at 10 a.m. Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw bring their Brothers of the Sun tour to Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday, July 21. Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 10.

Peter Frampton, who was in town this summer celebrating the 30th anniversary of Frampton Comes Alive!, has extended the tour into 2012 and will the play the album in its entirety again as part of a three-hour show at the Paramount Theatre on Tuesday, March 27. Tickets ($44.50- $69.50) go sale Friday, November 18 at 10 a.m. Kraddy is coming to the Fox Theatre on Saturday, January 28. Tickets ($13-$16) go on sale this Friday, November 18. Umphrey's McGee kicks off a three-night Colorado run with a pair of shows at the Belly Up in Aspen on Wednesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 8, culminates with a show at the Fillmore Auditorium on Friday, March 9. Finally, Henry Rollins brings his Spoken Word tour to the Boulder Theater on Monday, March 26, before heading to Belly Up for a show on Tuesday, March 27.
