Communikey: German techno icons Monolake and Atom™ perform tonight at the Fox Theater. Monolake, also known as Robert Henke, is one of the main developers of Ableton Live. Atom™, aka Uwe Schmidt, has released literally hundreds of LPs, EPs, singles and other projects since the early '90s under a variety of kooky aliases, including our favorite, Señor Coconut. Both artists are important and influential figures in the development of electronic music. The show will feature a multichannel audio setup, with both artists performing from the center of the room, as well as impressive visual effects. (All ages, 9 p.m.-1 a.m., $25-$27)

An underground party featuring the UK's amazing Maya Jane Coles, Dream A Little Dream, launches at 10 p.m. tonight, with DJs Brett Starr, Tony Rodelli and Chris Diesel also in the lineup. The London-based DJ/producer is making her Denver debut; the fast-rising young star has quickly risen to the top ranks of the DJ world, and her production work has been released by some of the industry's most fashionable labels, including Mobilee, Hypercolour, Dogmatik and Real Tone. Communikey: Tomorrow night, All Night Long at Apex Movement brings together a fresh and exciting lineup. Techno guru Levon Vincent, who runs the Deconstruct and Novel Sound labels, headlines the event. Also performing are cutting-edge techno acts Cheap and Deep with Spacetime Continuum, Santa Cruz's AntAct and one of Denver's finest techno purveyors, Mr. John Templeton. (10 p.m.-4 a.m., $20)
Also on Saturday, Las Vegas local Riva Starr will be taking the decks at Beta with his unique remix blend of pop to dance hits. It's mash-ups on a professional level, so expect a wide range of genres to be covered. (18+, 9 p.m.-2 a.m., $10)
The Blend residency continues on Saturday (and every third Saturday) at the Meadowlark; this installation features resident DJs Brick Lee, Sami Tee and Hoang Luu, as usual, plus special guest Styles Davis. (9 p.m.-2 a.m., $5)
Right around the corner, heady Denver-based house label, Audio Indika, hosts its annual 4/20 bash tomorrow night at 2711 Larimer (next to the Meadowlark). San Francisco's Deron Delgado (Stompy.com/Good Family) headlines the holiday festivities with support from local house don Uriah West, Rescue and Louis Marr. (21+, 11:30 p.m.-4 a.m., $10)The weekly Unity Sunday event on the patio at 2200 is the perfect way to clear your head from the weekend partying; it features weekly residents Brandon Bass and Louis Marr, plus sets by Tony Rodelli, Uriah West, Sean Michaels and a special guest to be announced. Communikey: Detroit legend Mike Huckaby headlines Kiss and Tell: Rite of Spring, which closes out the festival on Sunday night at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Huckaby ran the crucial Record Time music store during the heyday of Detroit techno. Performing with Huckaby are a number of DJs representing New York techno hotspot, the Bunker: Bethany Benzur, Seze Devres and Spinoza, who makes his third CMKY appearance. (8 p.m.-2 a.m., $15)
