SAT | KASKADE at SKYLAB, DENVER COLISEUM | 9/21/13 Kaskade has crafted his own signature sound out of an unusual blend of disco-kissed deep house and big-room trance. Somehow the Utah-born DJ manages to balance these two disparate genres into a unified whole, leaning heavily on female vocals and sexy bass lines to tie it all together. In the studio, he's crafted a series of artist albums and a slew of hot remixes, and he's also dropped a number of fine mix discs and played clubs and festivals all over the world. Catch Kaskade this Saturday, September 21, at Skylab with Dillon Francis, Morgan Page and many more.

FRI | DAN GHENACIA at NORAD | 9/20/13 Those who turn their noses up at house music just haven't been exposed to enough DJs like Dan Ghenacia. One of the artists behind label/DJ collective Apollonia, Ghenacia's been lighting up the Paris after-hours scene since the '90s, in addition to being resident at Ibiza's lauded DC10 club and doing stints in California's West Coast house scene. Ghenacia's sound is, appropriately, a beautiful balance between the funky, soulful imprint for which California became known in the house realm and the twitchy, precise melodies that French producers have turned into a higher form of art. His use of gorgeous (sometimes sassy) vocals and warm, soaring tunes envelop his audience, creating a blissful place where it's easy to forget all your worries and lose yourself on the dance floor. Appropriately, Afterhours Anonymous is teaming up with HOME to bring this superstar to NORAD on Friday, September 20, with Uncle Buck and Bob Taylor also behind the decks. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 and up)

FRI | MARK FARINA at BAR STANDARD | 9/20/13 Mark Farina's track selection is superb; he's got a vast library of funky house, acid jazz, hip-hop, spoken-word samples and unexpected surprises. But his popularity and longevity aren't mere products of his ability to select a track for the dance floor. Really, it's the sheer enjoyment of the music that he exhibits that makes his sets so enjoyable. He's not remotely motionless or joyless behind the decks. Catch him with Falcon Punch and Fun Factory at Bar Standard this weekend. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 and up)

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

Netsky teams up with MC Script at Beta with support from Fury, MC Dino and Caustik -- so if you're looking for a Friday night bass fix, look no further. (9 p.m., 18+, $15)

Angel Castro joins Kevin Callison and Seth Nichols at Milk Bar for another UNDERGROUND session, so lace those dancing shoes up tight! (9 p.m., 21+)

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

Popof (hailing from across the pond in France) takes over NORAD alongside a GATF wrap party featuring Sian and Devious D. Right on! (9 p.m., 21+, $10, free with GATF pre-sale)

Hit up Bass Face 6.0 at the Funky Buddha with EvilBot, Brandon Scott, X-Static, Teknikol, Drastk, Hazy Meadow and Allen Breakz dropping the whomp for your dancing pleasure. (8 p.m., 21+, no cover)

Beta hosts a special guest for its FUNhouse Saturdays with support from Cognition + T-Rav and Marshall Monica. (9 p.m., 21+, $10)
