Friday, July 4

Central Bistro will be offering a $10 "Big Bang" Boxcar Burger and Beer special, combining its popular Boxcar burger and fries with a Utica Club beer. The restaurant will also have live music and drink specials starting at 6 p.m. tonight. And don't forget that Central Bistro's patio has front row seats for the fireworks downtown. Lola is firing up the grills and throwing a Fourth of July BBQ starting at high noon today. The star-spangled menu will feature smoked chicken wings, beef ribs, pork shoulder and more, all with a dash of Lola's Latin flair. There will also be live music starting at 2:30 p.m. and a taco-eating contest starting at 3:30 p.m. For more information, click here.

Saturday, July 5

GMO-Free Fest gives you a chance to getaway and enjoy live music, organic food, and talks on GMOs and the benefits of organic food and farming. Crestone, Colorado will be the scene for this festival which runs from 12 to 9 p.m. today.
