This weekend's Dia de los Muertos promises to be a lively time at Mezcal and Tambien, the sibling restaurants at 3230 East Colfax Avenue and Steele Street, respectively. They both have Day of the Dead sugar-skull art exhibits (by local schoolkids from Roberts and Bromwell), traditional Dia de los Muertos altars, and drink specials.

And if you order the Labyrinth menu (appetizer, margarita, main dish and desert) at either restaurant, 20 percent of the proceeds will go to Labyrinth Arts Academy, headed byWestword profile subject Jose Mercado The deal is good at dinner October 31 and all day November 1-2, but diners at Tambien on Saturday night get an added treat: Labyrinth kids will perform there at 7 p.m.
