And it's all for a very good cause.
Denverite Sheldon "Butch" Ginsberg was diagnosed two years ago with myelodysplastic syndrome or MDS, a blood disease that's mandated more than two years of weekly/bi-weekly blood transfusions for Ginseberg, who estimates that he's received more than 200 pints of blood during those two years. His family, along with Rock Bottom Brewery, has since started a blood drive in his honor.
All you need to do to get a complimentary pint of suds is donate a pint of blood to Bonfils Blood Center, Children's Hospital or St. Joseph Hospital between now and May 31 and then e-mail your name, date of your donation, location of donation and mailing address to [email protected]. In return you'll receive a coupon (and thank you note) for a complimentary pint of beer (or root beer) good at any Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery.
We can all drink to that.
