Adelitas Cocina y Cantina will host a special Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal Dinner tonight with Ron Cooper, Del Maguey owner/producer. Yes, it will put create some challenges for the popular Taco Tuesday, but Cooper doesn't come to town every day.

The dinner will feature five courses prepared by guest chefs, each paired with a special cocktail featuring Del Maguey and created by Jason Patz of Williams & Graham. Those chefs include Chris Douglas of Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe, Matt Selby from Central Bistro & Bar, Kevin Morrison ofPinche Taqueria, Brandon Biederman of Ace and Steuben's and Sylvia Ayala for Adelitas.

And about Taco Tuesday: The $1 tacos will be served in the dining room until it's set up for the private dinner -- but then Adelitas will set up a $1 taco bar in the back room that connects to El Guapo, its patio. So whether you're looking for inexpensive tacos paired with the Best of Denver 2014 house margarita or a blow-out dinner with mezcal cocktails, Adelitas has you covered tonight.
