Tonight, at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center (650 15th Street), nearly forty restaurants will come together under one roof to celebrate A Taste for Life, an annual benefit for Project Angel Heart, a Denver nonprofit that provides nutritious meals -- no cost attached -- to people within the Denver community suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

"From the amazing array of top chefs and restaurants to the fun, lounge-y vibe, A Taste for Life is, in my unbiased opinion, my favorite event of its type in town," says Project Angel Heart executive chef Jon Emanuel. "It's definitely the most anticipated event of the year for the Project Angel Heart kitchen crew; we get to show off a little, plus there's music, great wines and cocktails, a top-notch silent auction, and a perfect place for friends to gather, enjoy some incredible food and support Project Angel Heart," he adds.

Participating chefs and restaurants include Ian Kleinman, Beast + Bottle, Root Down, Panzano, Corner House, Avenue Grill, Duo, Fuel Cafe, twelve, Le Grand Bistro & Oyster Bar, Linger, Vesta Dipping Grill, TAG, Table 6, the Truffle Table and many, many more. Emanuel, who will cook on behalf of Project Angel Heart, will serve seared Fruition Farms lamb with Palisade peach gastrique, smoked Colorado moose brisket-on-a-biscuit and a saute of wild mushrooms with pork-belly achiote.

"A Taste for Life a true Denver tradition, not to mention our signature event, but we couldn't do it without all of the great chefs, restaurants and attendees. Those are the people who make it all possible," says Emanuel.

The soiree begins at 6 p.m., and ticket prices, which range from $95 to $125 each, are available at the door. For more information, go to www.ProjectAngelHeart.org.
