The Adult Swim Games have been good about taking tried and true gameplay elements and sparking them up with the station's off-the-wall humor. Roly Poly Eliminator 2 does just that, with goofy death animations and ridiculous sound effects.
Which is to say, this isn't anything you haven't seen before, but it's still entertaining. The game is also a physics puzzler, and you'll be using the mouse to remove objects in each level; for instance, you'll need to cut a chandelier to fall and trigger a wood plank into flying off and crushing some little monsters. Most of the puzzles don't venture far from that mold, but as they get increasingly more complicated, they require very specific timing to complete.
You can think of it as a triggering a Rube Goldberg machine, where you need to alter the environment in sequence to properly trigger a series of events that lead to the demise of all of the little characters on the screen. When you're finished, you'll get a nice squishing sound of death and move on to the next level. Along the way, you're timed and scored based on how long you take to complete it.
It's a fun time waster, and the humor makes it feel different even if you've played this type of game before. Plus, everyone loves a good squishing death sound effect.
