Damien Echols & Lorri Davis at Tattered Cover Colfax (Monday, free) Every great couple has a great backstory. Damien Echols and Lorri Davis got married in prison, while he was sitting on death row for a crime he didn't commit. Echols already wrote a New York Times-bestselling memoir documenting the story behind that sentence, and now the two have come together to tell their story. Meet them tonight and hear them discuss their new book.

Playing for Change at Levitt Pavilion (Wednesday, free) The Levitt Pavilion, located on top of Ruby Hill, offers an amazing view of the city. The concert venue will not be fully functioning until next summer, but you can enjoy a preview tonight for free when members of the legendary YouTube sensation Playing for Change will perform.

Independence Eve at Civic Center Park (Thursday, free) Stretch your patriotism even further tonight and check out this Independence Day pre-party. Bring a picnic and jam out to Hazel Miller along with the light show and fireworks extravaganza.
