\An Evening of Caring Survivor Fashion Show 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6 Embassy Suites, 1420 Stout Street

Founded by Sue Miller, a former Denver fashion model who learned she had breast cancer in 1971, this is more than just a fashion show; the event also provides information on preventing, treating and surviving breast cancer. Celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year, Evening of Caring will start with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., then an informational program at 6:30 p.m., and the fashion show at 8 p.m. The models for the show are all breast cancer survivors; fashions are provided by Brooks LTD and Macys. The Denver Paper Fashion Show 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 7 Seawell Grand Ballroom, Denver Performing Arts Complex

The Denver Paper Fashion Show is the largest paper fashion show in the nation, with fifty teams creating runway designs almost entirely out of paper donated by Xpedx. Partial proceeds from the show benefit Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, which provides community-based arts education programs for at-risk youth. Aspen International Fashion Week March 13-16 Aspen Three breathtaking locations in the mountain town will be the settings for Aspen International Fashion Week, which features local and national designers. Events include the much-anticipated Truman Capote, Black and White Ball, which benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets start at $100; there's a $275.00 VIP all-access/four-day pass. Athena Project Festival Fashion Show 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 Aurora Fox Theater, 9900 East Colfax Avenue

Sponsored by Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, "Utopia/Dystopia" will blend performance art and fashion into a unique show benefitting the Athena Project and highlighting local female designers. Tickets are $25; purchase them at Athena Project Festival.com.

Raw "Mosiac" 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27 City Hall, 1144 Broadway

RAW is an independent arts organization -- for artists, by artists -- that provides independent artists in the first decade of their careers with tools, resources and exposure. This year's showcase will feature several up-and-coming designers, including Salwa Owens and Elizabeth Kay. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door; purchase them now at RawArtists.org.
