If Colorado's highest peaks have been calling your name and you're ready to bag some fourteeners, stop by REI Denver, 1416 Platte Street, tonight at 6:30 p.m. to join the kick-off event for the the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center's Multiple Summits for MS.

Registration for MS4MS is $25 per individual, and this year's fundraising goal is $30,000, which goes to support the Rocky Mountain MS Center's mission "to improve the lives of people with MS and their families through care, support, education and research."

Here's more on the event, via MScenter.org:

What makes this event different from others? You pick any date in August, pick your trail, gather your team, raise a little money, and GO! This is a do-it-your-way event!

Don't want to climb a mountain? DRIVE up one! Four-wheel up one! Take the stairs everyday for one month! The point is, build a team, set a goal, and summit!

For a full list of Colorado summits 14,000' and higher (there are either 53 or 58 of them, depending on how you're counting) out there waiting for you, check out the resource pages at www.14ers.com.
