DUFF's Outdoor Independent Film Series kicks off tonight outside St. Mark's Coffeehouse, featuring one-of-a-kind short works from across the nation and around the world. Subject matter covers everything from a journaling highway flagger to an obsessive record collector, with journeys into silent film, comedy, small epiphanies and soccer along the way. Pull up your blanket at 8 p.m. for the evening's free screenings.
