Bonsai People at the Denver Public Library (Monday) Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus has a vision for how to empower the poor: help instill an entrepreneurial spirit. Yunus pioneered the idea of Micro lending, giving $27 to each of 42 people to see how it would change their lives and help solve global problems of poverty. Whole Foods Market will present Bonsai People, a documentary by director Holly Mosher that which examines the power of Yunus's work, at the DPL's Central Public Library tonight.
