Most people start the New Year off by making resolutions. Some people vow to exercise more or smoke less. Others opt to look for news jobs, new loves or even new clothes.

The two men pictured below, however, had something else in mind. They chose to shoplift more. And they got 2011 off to a great start by taking on -- and being photographed by -- the Macy's department store at the Cherry Creek mall on New Year's Day.

Here's the report issued today by the Denver Police Department.

On January 1, 2011 the above suspects described as white, male, 5'-8", 150lbs, with light brown curly hair, and at tattoo of lips on his left side neck and a black, male, approximately 5'-8", 150lbs, black hair, and brown eyes, entered the Macy's at 3000 East 1st Avenue in the Cherry Creek Shopping Mall and shoplifted numerous items. The store security contacted the suspects and was assaulted by one of them before they fled the store in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information on the suspects is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867; there could be a $2,000 reward -- enough to build a new wardrobe from Macy's in 2011!
