You may not remember Brian Bonsall, and that's okay, because the former child actor doesn't remember much either, at least when it comes to the night of December 5, when Boulder police say he hit his best friend repeatedly in the face with a broken stool.

On Monday, Bonsall, who played Michael J. Fox's younger brother, Andy Keaton, on Family Ties, told a Boulder County judge: "I don't really know what happened. I'd gone up to my best friend's house and was intoxicated with alcohol and blacked out."

He also told the judge he'd had a longtime problem with alcoholism, according to a story in the Daily Camera, and said he was working on a plea agreement.

We'll remember Bonsall now, though, if for nothing else than his awesome mug shot, which led to this list of some of our favorite former child star mug shots.
