Police release photos of suspected locker room thievesBoulder and Louisville police are investigating what they believe are four related reports of thefts from lockers at local athletic facilities. The first occurred on Saturday, Aug. 22, at about 2:45 p.m. at the Louisville Recreation Center, 900 W. Via Appia. The other three occurred later that same day, at approximately 4:50 p.m., at the North Boulder Recreation Center, 3170 Broadway. Investigators are asking for the public's help identifying and locating these suspects.
In the Boulder cases, the suspects stole items from numerous lockers. In at least one of the cases, a lock was cut off. Surveillance photos of the suspects were obtained as a result of security cameras in the North Boulder Recreation Center.
Anyone with information about these crimes or these suspects is asked to call Boulder Detective Bob Wands at 303-441-3323 or Louisville Detective Michelle Ferguson at 303-335-4658. Those with information who wish to remain anonymous should contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted via the Crime Stoppers Web site at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
