Boulder's happiness turns into advertisement for city on CBS Sunday Morning (VIDEO)

Last year, we noted that Boulder had been named the happiest place in the United States by the Gallup-Healthways Well Being Index.

And yesterday, CBS Sunday Morning shared its piece on the subject -- one that juxtaposes bliss in Boulder with the aspects that caused Huntington, West Virginia to finish last on the list.

The result is the equivalent of a nationally televised commercial for one of Colorado's favorite towns, complete with a tag-line that sounds like something dreamed up by the local chamber of commerce: "If happiness is a state of mind, Boulder is its capital." Here's guessing Boulder officials like this axiom better than Playboy ranking CU the nation's top party school. See the Sunday Morning video below.
