When it opened almost three decades ago, Paris on the Platte was a bright light on a very dim stretch. Over the years, Paris grew from a coffee house to a wine bar to a music venue to a favorite gathering place -- and this block of Platte Street grew, too. What was once a no man's land is now a hot dining destination -- but one that must get buy without Paris on the Platte. The coffee house closed up shop last month, and reopened one last time Saturday to sell off some of its contents. Brandon Marshall was there to capture the action.
