Girl Scout cookie season is upon us, threatening our willpower and our waistlines. If you've already maxed out on Trefoils, Tagalongs and other annual favorites but are still craving sweets, Grimaldi's Pizzeria in the Denver Pavilions has just what you need: the pizza kitchen's creamy cheesecakes made in two flavors from the Girl Scout portfolio: Chocolate Mint with Thin Mints and Caramel Coconut with Samoas.

And just like sales of the cookies themselves, proceeds will benefit the organization; 100 percent of every slice sold will be donated to the Girl Scouts of Colorado. The money raised will go toward activities, uniforms, badges and service projects for nearly 25,000 Girl Scouts in Colorado.

Grimaldi's is selling the two cheesecake varieties for $5 a slice until the end of February during lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Both cheesecakes feature ingredients from their namesake cookies and sport crusts made from actual Thin Mint or Samoa cookie crumbs, respectively.
