10 Things to Do for $10 in Denver This Weekend (7 Free!), July 24-26

Whether you're headed for the hills or staying in the city, there are plenty of fun activities this weekend — many of them free. You can stake a claim at a new bar, play a little futball and hell, even party for the sake of the moose. B-Side Music Fridays with Rose Quartz DJ Set at MCA Denver (6 p.m. Friday, $5)
It's the freakin weekend!. Start it off right by chilling out on the rooftop patio at the Museum of Contemporary Art. It's a gorgeous deck, and you can plan the rest of your weekend while sipping a cocktail and gazing over the city's skyline. Rose Quartz will be to spinning the jams, and you can stroll through the museum, too.

The Nip & Sip's Grand Opening Party at Nip & Sip Neighborhood Lounge (6 p.m. Friday, free)
Check out the newest spot in Berkeley. The NIP & Sip is a sibling to the Horseshoe Lounge, Inga's and BarCar, so you know it's going to be a great little neighborhood spot. There will be a DJ playing tunes, but the bar also has a rad jukebox.

 All-Star Week at Skyline Park (8 p.m. Friday-Sunday, free)
Denver is stoked to host the Major League Soccer All-Star game next week, but we're all about this weekend's soccer-themed parties. Skyline Park will be the center of the action: On Friday, you can kick up here for  yoga, a happy hour and soccer films. Saturday will be fueled by bubble soccer and a silent disco; on Sunday there's a viewing party and concert. Find a complete schedule here.

Raiders of the Lost Ark at Founders' Green Park (8 p.m. Friday, free)
Crack the whip with Harrison Ford tonight while watching this classic Spielberg movie outside at Stapleton. The film starts at dusk, but you'll want to get there earlier to smuggle in that box of wine, spread your blanket and grab food from the line of food trucks.

Grand Mesa Moose Day at U.S. Forest Service Visitor Center (10 a.m. Saturday, free)
Sometimes it's  nice to get out of the city and enjoy those Rocky Mountains. Take a trip to just outside Grand Junction to celebrate the moose, one of Colorado's most rapidly growing species. Win prizes, make moose hats, eat moose salad and enjoy much more at the festival. Just don't hit a moose on the way home.

The Cheesman Park Art Fest at Cheesman Park (10 a.m. Saturday-Sunday, free)
Cheesman Park is one the city's best places to be, even if it's haunted. But the ghosts will be quiet this weekend, because the park will be full of artwork from 115 artist from all over the country. This is the third annual event, and it just keeps getting better. Remember to bring money so you can buy art and also grab snacks from the food trucks.

Jackalope Arts Festival at EXDO Events Center (11 a.m. Saturday-Sunday free)
The Jackalope Arts Festival is a high-caliber traveling artisan showcase. The 200 vendors were all picked by a jury, so you can expect quality — and lots of it. See the roster here, or just come blind and be surprised. 

Crush City 3: Crushburger In Paradise at The Savoy Events Center (8 p.m. Saturday, $7)
Here's one way to get your chuckle on this weekend: Crush City is a superb comedy show, and this one will be particularly big since the group is taking next month off. Jordan Doll and Aaron Urist host the night with five jokesters who will not disappoint in the beautiful Savoy event space. 

Birdy Presents Stuff On Walls at The Deer Pile (8 p.m. Saturday, $5)
What a night for creativity: Stuff twenty artists and bands into a room (and on the walls) and you never know what might happen. In fact, you'll have to see it to believe it.
Propaganda! A Comedy Show 3 Year Anniversary at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret (8 p.m. Sunday, free)
This monthly event gives out much more than just free laughs, and since it's celebrating its third birthday tonight, it should be super-special. There will be not one, but five different headliners: Barry Rothbart, Jono Zalay, Mudflap, Deacon Gray and Rick Kerns. That lineup is guaranteed to leave you in stitches — always a good way to end a weekend.
