Feast your eyes on this spectacular look we spotted at Westword's DISH celebration last Sunday. While the focus was on the food — signature dishes from more than forty of our favorite restaurants — there was also plenty of fashion on display at Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The day was unseasonably warm, so many attendees were sporting hot looks. But even in this crowd, marketing associate Stephanie Wong was a standout, and we stopped to chat with her about her street style.

This head-to-toe outfit may look like a dress, but it's actually two separates that Wong paired to give the allusion of a gown (we love the silver straps). "This skirt is from Free People, and the top is from ASOS online. I like Free People online. I shop at Nordstrom Rack and the sale section when I can," says Wong. "I try to be original when I can. Kate Moss inspires my style. I really like bo-ho chic fashion as well."

This purse is from Free People, and the braided brown leather matches the texture of Wong's shoes. "Free People is expensive but they have good stuff and good sales," she says.
These brown leather sandals by Yves Saint Laurent are a vintage find. "Shoes are great because no matter how you feel, shoes will always be the same, they always fit" says Wong. Shoes happen to be her favorite accessory while black is her favorite color for its versatility. "Keep it minimal. I really like simple things instead of trying too hard,"says Wong of her style mantra.

Wong finishes off her look with reflective Ray Ban shades.

Made in the shade: Food and fashion proved a winning combination at DISH.
