Ignite Ale House and Kitchen opened on Sheridan Boulevard in July after a fast remodel job that converted it from a Woody's Tavern outpost. But after only five months, Ignite failed to catch fire and is now closed.

The Arvada Ignite was an offshoot of the popular Ignite Burgers & Lounge on Larimer Street in the Ballpark neighborhood. While the menu at the newer location was somewhat of a departure from the original, both featured hefty burgers and the signature "man candy" bacon.

Ignite was operated by Concept Restaurants, which recently opened Blue Island Oyster Bar in Cherry Creek and also runs Humboldt, Stout Street Social, Rialto Cafe and several other eateries around town.
