Coloradans love to bike. Whether it's hitting the hills on your mountain bike or pedaling along Cherry Creek, a two-wheeled trip is almost always better than a four-wheeled one. That's why we celebrate Colorado Bike Month in June (the majority of the country celebrates in May), and the highlight is today's Bike to Work Day, when you're encouraged to make your commute behind handlebars instead of the wheel to save money, help the environment and maybe work on that beer belly you promised to get rid of for New Year's.

If you need a little extra incentive, here are a few deals to keep you fueled for your ride:

On Bike to Work Day, Chipotle is offering a buy-one-get-one deal on any burrito, salad or taco order. All you need to do is stop by your favorite Chipotle location from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and show your bike helmet or mention that you biked to work.

If your Bike to Work Day commute takes you through Skyline Park this morning, stop by Pedals for Pancakes,  a free breakfast from 6:30 to 9 a.m. In addition to free pancakes, there will be coffee, giveaways, chair massages and free bike tuneups. Visit biketoworkday.us for more information.

The Denver Cruiser Ride is getting all American on your ass today, with a Stars and Stripes theme for the weekly cruiser crawl. While you might not be biking to work for this event, partying can be hard work...not to mention lots of fun. Check out denvercruiserride.com for all the details.
