Tea Pot Lounge

Tea Pot Lounge

I looked at about a dozen different flowers, including a beautifully frosty and sweet Black Ice OG, some decent Super Silver Haze and the same Super Silver Haze/OG cross dubbed Kizzle that the Cannasseur developed.
Groundswell

Groundswell

Some cuts looked better than others, like the NYC Diesel and the Berry Skunk, but most looked well-dried and cured -- healthy buds from a medium-sized warehouse.
Top Shelf Alternatives

Top Shelf Alternatives

Top Shelf Alternatives also had two special strains, Blacktooth Grin and Lavender, at $15 per gram all the way up. I got a good look at both, and neither seemed to be of any better quality than the rest of the items on the shelf.

    183 W. Alameda Ave. Denver, CO 80223

http://stickybuds5280.com Sticky Buds lies nestled between a shopping complex and housing units, so the back-alley parking lot can be somewhat difficult to find but it's better than parking on the street. The shop is a converted home, and although the waiting room isn't very big, the staff has done a decent job of making it comfortable. But if you don't like incense, beware: This place lays it on thick. Sticky Buds is decorated with the paintings of Boulder artists and sells glassware and dab setups. The shop typically has around fifteen strains available, and regularly offers deals on any strain it has in excess. Sticky Buds accepts cash and debit cards only. More >>

  • Sticky Buds Broadway

    Sticky Buds Broadway

    2262 S. Broadway Denver, CO 80210
    303-282-0200

http://stickybuds5280.com Sticky Buds sits in the spot formerly occupied by Delta 9 Alternative Medicine. While a few elements remain the same, including the shared entrance with the tattoo parlor next door, fresh carpeting and a coat of earthy green paint on the walls make Sticky Buds, which opened in March 2014, feel new. The waiting room is welcoming enough, offering magazines and free lollipops for the ride home. The bud room features an L-shaped counter, half of it filled with cheap Chinese hand pipes and assorted candy edibles, and the other half filled with jars of herb, including a top shelf with the dispensary's best strains. http://denverssweetest.com Recreational customers, do not be scared off: Sweet Leaf will sell to you, too. The shop has an experienced staff that can move people in and out without rushing. Sweet Leaf offers $80-$100 ounces of shake, although employees are quick to tell you that there is no trim in it. There are also more nug-friendly ounce deals available daily for around $120. All prices at Sweet Leaf include tax, which is helpful for those not used to the calculations. Free joints are given out after your first visit, and there are usually fifteen to twenty strains on the menu. The stock is, as promised, really good ganja that you wouldn't necessarily expect to find at warehouse prices. Okay, it isn't homegrown-basement-quality, and there are a few strains that don't even need to be pulled out of the case, but for the most part, you'll dig the quality and selection.
